2022-2023 Season Standings
The Championship is the second tier of English football, below the Premier League. The league consists of 24 teams, who play each other twice during the season. The top two teams are automatically promoted to the Premier League, while the third and fourth-placed teams enter a play-off to determine the third team to be promoted.
As of May 7, 2023, Burnley currently tops the Championship standings with 91 points, followed by Sheffield United with 89 points. Rotherham United and Huddersfield Town occupy the third and fourth positions, respectively, with 82 and 81 points.
