Turkey's national football team coach Vincenzo Montella has set his sights on beating Portugal in the upcoming Euro 2024 qualifying match and reaching the last 16 of the tournament. Turkey's recent 3-1 victory over Georgia was their first win in the qualifying campaign, and Montella is hoping to build on that momentum when they face Portugal on March 24.
"We have a dream to beat Portugal and qualify for the last 16," Montella said. "We know it will be a difficult match, but we are confident in our abilities."
Portugal are the reigning European champions and will be a tough opponent for Turkey, but Montella believes his team has what it takes to pull off an upset.
